Early societies perceived connections between certain actions performed by the group or leaders in the group and the desired results of the whole society. These actions moved from habit, to tradition, and then on to ceremony and ritual.Palliser Sofahttp://www.sofasandsectionals.com/sofas/palliser-sofasnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38582487.post-65960660018384415402010-05-05T13:41:52.748-04:002010-05-05T13:41:52.748-04:00I think that's the point, structure and substa...I think that's the point, structure and substance are both important. I'm intrigued by ghost stories, but more love history more. Stories of the past are so interesting to me.Mindie Burgoynehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14936334677882898071noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38582487.post-33024746588562649532010-05-04T14:31:17.705-04:002010-05-04T14:31:17.705-04:00I interviewed a ghost hunter yesterday for the Fur...I interviewed a ghost hunter yesterday for the Furnace Town event at the end of the month. I'm no believer, but I have learned that credibility and delivery go hand in hand. The thing about ghost stories is we have a predetermined sense of how they should go. All last night I was thinking that, as many as I've heard, the ones that've stayed with me followed the pattern. It's not so much about the tone as the pacing. You always deliver these kinds of stories well because you have a sense of structure, rather than a list of scary events.Tony Russohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07822397944969480894noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38582487.post-88284503752162267622010-05-03T22:13:25.687-04:002010-05-03T22:13:25.687-04:00Love it, Barbara. People who had worked there for 10 years claimed they had never seen it before, and had no idea how or why it came down. There were several people on the stage, but no one was backstage at the time. Very spooky!BARBARA RYBACKIhttp://www.tomcatsolutionsonline.orgnoreply@blogger.com
